The purpose of this site is to present some of the artistic creations which
have established Skiadopoulos Bros as one of the most responsible and
creative church suppliers. It is also our goal to give every Christian the
chance to have a closer look at Byzantine art and history, always remaining
faithful to the spiritual principles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Skiadopoulos Bros was established in 1957 when the first family workshop
was founded in Athens. Being themselves designers and craftsmen, the
Skiadopoulos brothers soon became well known due to their devotion to the
artistic quality and the high construction standards of their products.
Inspired by the originals of the traditional Orthodox Byzantine art, they
always manufactured hand made sacred vessels which decorate churches all
over Greece and have remained untouched by time.
With 40 years of experience and a work force of twenty well-trained and
specialized craftsmen, we continue our creative work to this day. We have
ignored all mass commercialization demands and we are always trying to
create masterpieces. We have been expanding our work to every section of
church art such as Hagiography, wood carving, embroidery, church bell
systems, chandeliers, fine jewelry and church silverware, using the finest
quality materials.
The unsurpassed quality of our products has made Skiadopoulos Bros one of
the major exporters to all the world. At this point it would be an honour
for us to mention that our company is a supplier of the Ecumenical
Patriarchate & the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece. One of our
masterpieces is the sterling silver Epitaph of St. Andrew in Patras and
another one the Patriarchal Cross which his Holiness Patriarch Demetrios
offered to his Holiness the Pope, and can be seen in the Vatican Museum.

- Tailors and nuns sewing hand embroidered Bishop's Miters, epitaphs,
banners, chalice covers with fine Byzantine motives on high quality velvet,
gold threat and hand painted icons.
- Specialized craftsmen making holy gospels, blessing crosses, chalice
sets, hexapteryga, tabernacles, vigil lamps, candle sticks, chandeliers and
all sacred vessels.
- Well trained silversmiths and goldsmiths scuplting pectoral crosses and
episcopal engolpia - made of pure silver decorated with semi-precious or
precious stones -, reliquaries embossed with Byzantine figures, chalice
sets, holy gospels, Bishop's staff & crosiers, sanctuary lamps and blessing
crosses all real masterpieces of fine art.
- Designers and smiths working on creative ideas for medals of historical

All our products are hand-made using the traditional tools used by the
old craftsmen and silversmiths. We use only high quality materials such as
pure silver, fine bronze and oven baked enamel in combination with a fine
finish of gold and silver plating.We believe that our hand-made items can
